Their Lives, Our Voices

Midwest Animal Advocacy Conference 2008

Their Lives, Our Voices 2008 seeks to bring together individuals from across the region for a hands-on, high-quality conference focused on helping animals. Our goal is to make the conference as inclusive and accessible as possible for both new and veteran activists in the Midwest region, with a focus on farmed animal advocacy efforts. We want to enable as much attendee participation and networking as possible, so we're hoping you can come and make this a great event.

This conference is being organized by Compassionate Action for Animals, an animal advocacy organization based in Minneapolis, MN.

The conference will take place Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8, at the Hubert H. Humphrey Conference Center in Minneapolis, MN.

06/03/08 Thanks, Freeman

Freeman Wicklund has graciously agreed to step in and fill the keynote slot that Carol Adams had. We're very grateful for this, since he's doing this on ridiculously last-minute notice.

Thanks, Freeman!

06/02/08 Speaker Changes

First, some bad news. Due to pressing personal circumstances, Carol Adams will not be able to speak at TLOV. We're all bummed about this, but this is one of this "stuff happens" situations.

We do have some good news, which is that we've added Lorri Bauston to the schedule. Lorri is one of the founders of Farm Sanctuary, and has been active in the animal rights movement for over twenty years. We're excited to welcome her to TLOV!
